| Ok...so what did you guys think...and for all those who have seen it, please no comment posts that contain spoilers for 24 either for those that haven't seen it.
I don't know...the season started off so seemingly exciting and there were plot twists along the way that kind of caught you off guard...but this season didn't seem to carry the same weight as the last 5 where you just couldn't live without seeing 24 the next Monday and commercial breaks made you twitch for having to wade through a series of poor advertisements to get to the next 10 minutes of Jack Bauer's thrilling, terrorist-annihilating crusade.
Don't get me wrong, I love this show to pieces and I hope that when producers say they'll be revamping the show because even they were disappointed in it...they really will because I will definitely be tuning in for season 7 of 24. The first four hours of the show were majorly intense...but then it just kind of seemed to drop off from there. I remember the Bunnel and I freaking out constantly last year watching it in the dorm rooms. Not nearly as many of those moments this season.
I think the main contributors to this problem though are firstly...the fact that they seem to bring in and bring out characters so quickly since the 4th season. Several characters were sticking around consistently and we all loved it...then they removed characters en-masse. The first couple of times were complete shockers...then it just started getting frustrating. Now for the last couple of seasons, just as they are starting to build a history they are somehow removed from the show and in doing so...we feel less attachment to the characters and the shock and awe factor is no longer there. Granted some characters have stayed around but seemingly very few.
The other thing is that this season seemed to be a conglomeration of repetitive plot lines for the most part. It kind of seemed to be almost a depressing season with very few moments to cheer and though a few things were wrapped up there are still several things left unfinished.
Finally...the season was so unpredictable it became predictable if that makes sense. You would think of the most craziest thing that could happen and all of the sudden there was your next plot line. Anyways, that's my two cents worth...what were your opinions?
On a side note, congrats to everyone on graduation :).

| So we have 5ft+ snow drifts around our complex...I know this because they are as tall as I am :). Some people have 4ft drifts in front of their door...good luck to them getting out. So the morning started out at 5:30am this morning with my surge protector whining to me that there was no power. After 7 temporary power blips, heartland ridge lost power at 5:45 this morning. Slight problem because everything is run on electric in these apartments including the stove and smoke detectors. Thankfully the power company got right on it and we had power up by 8:30 am despite the weather conditions. Kudos to them, it was starting to get cold in the apartment. Then we just sat around taking it easy, went and ran around in the giant snow drifts for a bit, then ate the delicious peanut butter cookies we made. Oh happy snow day! Two in a three month period, I think I just saw a pig fly... :). Anyways, that's all for today, crazy snowstorm, the real challenge will be to see if I can get into work tomorrow morning...if it's open :). So what did you all do on your snow day :)? On a random note, found a couple new artists I like, paul alan and then a country group called sugarland.

| A lot has happened in the last couple months or so, maybe I'll post more details later. Normally I'm not the kind of person that posts lyrics in xanga, but as I was just listening to itunes at random and this song came up and I found I could relate to it especially after recent events in the last week or so. So here's my post.
"Gone" by Kelly Clarkson
What you see's not what you get
With you there's just no measurement
No way to tell what's real from what isn't there
Your eyes they sparkle
That's all changed into lies that drop like acid rain
You washed away the best of me
You don't care
You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone
Sometimes shattered
Never open
Nothing matters
When you're broken
That was me whenever I was with you
Always ending
Always over
Back and forth, up and down like a rollercoaster
I am breaking
That habit
Today
You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone
There is nothing you can say
Sorry doesn't cut it, babe
Take the hit and walk away
'Cause I'm gone
Doesn't matter what you do
It's what you did that's hurting you
All I needed was the truth
Now I'm gone
What you see's not what you get
What you see's not what you get
You know you did it
I'm gone
To find someone to live for
In this world
There's no light at the end of the tunnel tonight
Just a bridge that I gotta burn
You were wrong
If you think you can walk right through my door
That is just so you
Coming back when I've finally moved on
I'm already gone
I'm already gone
Oh, I'm already gone, gone, gone, gone
Already gone
I'm gone
